Synopsis
The Brazil national team, the most successful team in the World Cup is administered by Brazilian Football Confederation. FIFA has ranked the country in 2nd position, as of 2017. The team has been a member of FIFA since 1923.
Brazil is the only team who won the World Cup in four different continents: Europe (Sweden in 1958), South America (Chile in 1962), twice in North America (Mexico in 1970 and United States in 1994), and Asia (Korea/Japan in 2002).
Tite, The Coach
Currently, the coach of the team is Adenor Leonardo Bacchi popularly known as Tite. Tite has played and managed for several clubs in his career.
Tite joined the Brazil national team in June 2016 as the new coach. His debut match in charge was a 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Ecuador on September 1, 2016, making a 3-0 victory, with goals from Neymar and Gabriel Jesus.
Philippe Coutinho
Brazilian player, Philippe Coutinho plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Barcelona. Showing his prodigious talent, he excelled in Vasco Da Gamma’s youth system in his early days.
Coutinho signed with Italian side Inter - onale in 2008 for €4 million and subsequently loaned back to Vasco becoming the key player for the club. He signed with Liverpool for £8.5 million in January 2013.
Coutinho joined Barcelona in January 2018. His transfer fee is reported to be an initial £105 million, which could rise to £142 million with various clauses being met.
Coutinho scored 2 goals in the match against Ecuador on August 31, 2017, leading the team to the victory at 2018 World Cup qualification match.
Neymar, The Star
Paris Saint Germain star, Neymar is a professional player, plays as a forward for Brazil national team. He signed a €222 million deal with the club in August 2017. It was the most expensive transfer in the football history.
Known for his dribbling, finishing, and the ability to play with both feet, Neymar is compared to former Brazil and Santos forward, Pelé.
Neymar, FIFA Confederations Cup winner and Olympic gold medalist, will be making his second appearance in the World Cup 2018.

Brazil has made 20 World Cup appearances and won 5 titles to date. Brazil will be having a match against Switzerland, Costa Rica, and Serbia in the second edition of the tournament, World Cup 2018.
