Ned Eisenberg made his on-screen acting debut in 1980 through the film The Exterminator, which followed his movie works in We're Fighting Back (1981, TV film), The Burning (1981) Slayground (1983), before a lead role in Key Exchange (1985).

From 1985 to 1989, the American actor made recurring appearances in Miami Vice and then landed as Anthony Fanelli in The Fanelli Boys (1990-91, 19 episodes) alongside Joe Pantoliano, Ann Morgan Guilbert & Christopher Meloni.

Then throughout the 90s, Ned notably worked in the films: Last Man Standing (1996) with Bruce Willis; critically acclaimed Primary Colors (1998) starring John Travolta & Emma Thompson; and A Civil Action (1998).

Having guest-starred in L.A. Law, New York Undercover, and The Sopranos, Eisenberg portrayed James Granick in Law & Order (1997- 2009, 5 episodes), and then Roger Kressler / Klein Rothberg / Jerry Kleinert in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999-2019, 24 episodes), sharing the screen with the likes of Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, and Dann Florek.
