Billy Eichner was born on 18th September 1978 in New York City, New York under the birth sign Virgo. Eichner is American as per nationality and ethnicity/race wise, he is White. He lost his mother when he was 20 and father in 2011. He has an older brother from his father’s previous relationship.

 In 1996, Eichner graduated from Stuyvesant High School and four years later, earned a Bachelor’s degree in theater from Northwestern University where Robin Lord Taylor was his roommate.

Eichner then worked in two short movies The Charlie Sheen Is Too Damn High and Glitter and Ribs. In 2014, he voiced Chef Pig/ Phillip in The Angry Birds Movie with Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Bill Hader and Peter Dinklage.

As of 2018, he is working in upcoming movies, The Lion King and Noelle.

Two years later, Eichner worked in dark comedy web TV series, Difficult People with Julie Klausner, James Urbaniak, and Andrea Martin. As of 2018, he worked in reality competition TV series, RuPaul’s Drag Race as a judge.

Eichner did a new initiative called Glam Up the Midterms with the purpose of getting people to vote in the 2018 midterm elections which he introduced during the night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live on 1st February 2018 in conjunction with Funny or Die with the support of several hosts like James Corden, Seth Meyers, Sarah Silverman, Jimmy Kimmel and John Oliver among others.
