The Love Me Like You Do singer, 31, and her boyfriend Caspar Jopling got engaged to be married.
The couple, who have been dating for more than a year, chose the most traditional way to announce their engagement-they issued the news in the marriage section of the U.K's The Times newspaper.
The announcement published on Tuesday, 7th August's paper reads:
The engagement is announced between Caspar, son of The Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and Mrs. Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire, and Elena, daughter of Mr. Arthur Goulding of Herefordshire and Mrs. Tracey Sumner of West Midlands.
People reported Ellie whose original name is Elena is dating the New York-based art dealer Jopling for around one and a half year.
Goulding dated several celebrities including Jeremy Irvine, Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris, and Bobby Rich before she found the man of her life.
Both Jopling and Goulding have a connection to the Royal Family. Jopling went to the prestigious Eton College where Prince Harry and Prince Williams studied. On the other side, Goulding had a privilege to sing at Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal Wedding in 2011.
Besides her relationship, the 31-year-old singer has been recording her fourth studio album in London. She will be performing in South Korea for the first time in September.
