Asia Kate Dillon is an American actor who is popularly known for their portrayal of Brandy Epps in the popular Television series, Orange is the New Black and Taylor Mason in the series, Billions. Their role in the latter won them a nomination for a Critics' Choice Television Award in the category of Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Dillon is genderqueer and is referred to with the plural form of speech "They/Them".

Asia Kate Dillon was born on November 15, 1984, in Ithaca, New York, USA. They enrolled at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and attended the Actor's Workshop's training program at the age of 16. Dillon was interested in acting from a small age and wanted to pursue acting as a professional career.

To fulfill their pa s sion of acting, Dillon started acting in plays early on. Firstly, played the character Rachel Corrie in the play My name is Rachel Corrie. For the play,  Dillon had to memorize 30 monologues and had to portray seven characters. Later on, they got involved in the workshops of some amazing playwrights which made ways and was chosen to play lead roles in theatre plays like The Tempest and The Mysteries.

Dillon first tried out acting in 2007 by acting in a theatre play called My Name is Rachel Corrie. Afterward, they continued to get featured in many television series. Dillon was cast in the role of Asia which was Dillon's own name for a short series called My Popcorn Nights in 2009 and in 2011 series Marcus Garland: A Necessary Option.

Dillon then portrayed a Bald girl in an episode of 2015 American comedy-drama series Younger alongside actors Hilary Duff, Sutton Foster, Nico Tortorella and Peter Hermann. The year 2016 was huge for her as she was cast as a recurring character Brandy Epps, a white supremacist in the popular comedy web televisions series, Orange is the New Black. She is part of the series till present and acted alongside some popular names like Samira Wiley, Jackie Cruz, Taylor Schilling and Taryn Manning.

In 2017, they got cast as Taylor Mason, a non-binary character in the American Television series Billions and has appeared in some 23 episodes so far. Their spectacular performance in the series won them a nomination for a Critics' Choice Television Award in the category of Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

Dillion is the producing director and founder of MIRROR/FIRE Productions. In the company, their motive is to explore the racism and the movement of Black Lives Matter in the United States thus, creating the US which is a performance piece which showed their thought.

Dillion's net worth is not public, however, sources claim it to be around six-figures. They don't rake in $1 million per episode as other TV stars like Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parson, and Kevin Spacey, rather get paid around $700,000 for the whole season.

They also star as one of the leads in the Billions, adding more to their growing net worth.

Asia Kate Dillon's Personal Life

Dillon is in a relationship with a man which they confirmed in the Ellen Show. When Ellen DeGeneres asked them about their romantic relationship, they confirmed being in one. But the details related to the man is not released. Dillon is pansexual, attracted to all genders.

They were named female at birth but is unable to identify gender thus known as non-binary. During 1993 Dillon experienced feelings for a girl and eventually went on to kiss her on the cheeks.  As Dillon was a s signed as a girl child at birth it was inappropriate for a girl to kiss another girl so Dillon was estranged from all their friends.  

Dillion realized affection for a boy watching the movie Stand by Me and admitted falling in love with River Phoenix's character.  They tattoed einfuhlung on her neck which means empathy in German.  Dillon struggled in identifying their gender since they were attached and attracted to every gender.

Reality star Khloe Kardashian apologized to Dillon for using the wrong Prefix. The teen vogue magazine covered this story and they shared the post on Instagram.
