Academy Award-winning actor, Kevin Spacey, is best known for his appearance in the movie The Usual Suspects. Kevin Spacey was born as, Kevin Spacey Fowler on 26 July 1959, in South Orange, New Jersey, the U.S. He belongs to White-American ethnicity and holds American nationality.

Spacey was born to Kathleen Ann, a secretary, and Thomas Geoffrey Fowler, technical writer, and data consultant. He has a brother named Randall Fowler and a sister named Julie Ann Keir.

Spacey attended the Northridge Military Academy. He then went to the Canoga Park High School. He enrolled at Chatsworth High School in Chatsworth, Los Angeles and graduated with valedictorian in 1977.

Spacey was interested in acting since his high school days, he starred in several stage productions for his school.

After high school, Spacey began working in the amateur comedy club circuit as a comedian. He slowly developed his celebrity mimicry skills. He imitated Al Pacino, Johnny Carson, and Christopher Walken during his appearances on Inside the Actors Studio.

In the 1980s, Spacey appeared in minor roles in several movies. He came to the public attention after he featured Eddy Otis in the 1992 movie Consenting Adults. He also played small roles in TV series such as Wiseguy and L.A. Law.

Spacey received a big breakthrough role in 1995. He was cast in American neo-noir mystery film, The Usual Suspects, as Roger "Verbal" Kint. He featured alongside Stephen Baldwin, Gabriel Byrne, and other artists.

The American movie director, Sam Mendes offered Spacey to play the role of the middle-aged office worker, Lester Burnham in the movie, American Beauty. His portrayal of the character garnered him much critical appraise and made him a superstar.

Spacey sold his Los Angeles Estate at $11 million which is built under the 1.1-acre estate and consists of five bedrooms and four bathrooms in  6,595 square feet. In 1997, he purchased the house at  $2.135 million. Kevin Spacey bought a brand new Range Rover car which costs around $225,000.

In October 2017, actor Anthony Rapp alleged him claiming that Spacey made a sexual advance towards him when Rapp was 14. Following that Spacey posted on his Twitter that he did not remember the encounter but he apologized for his behavior. He also added that he might have done this in a drunk.

After that, fifteen other men came forward and alleging them for similar abuse. An anonymous man alleged that he had an extended sexual relationship with Spacey in 1983. After all this, he was suspended on the final season of House of Cards. Netflix canceled Gore Vidal’s biopic project. 

On November 1, 2017, he stated that he would be seeking evaluation and treatment for his behavior. Next day, his publicist Staci Wolfe and talent agency Creative Artists Agency ended their relationship with him.

Kevin Spacey's Personal Life

Spacey might or might not be married, he has not confirmed anything yet. Despite his popularity, the Hollywood royalty has not disclosed many details about his personal life. 

In November 2017, Daily Mail uncovered two-decades-old pictures of Spacey with his then model boyfriend in a public park. The pictures were taken the day before he won his Best Actor Academy Award for his performance in a movie American Beauty. The intimate pictures of him and his younger boyfriend shows that they were in the Topanga, California, nearby his hometown.

In October 2017, he came out as gay and revealed that he had a relationship with both men and women previously.

Previously, Spacey had a romantic relationship with script supervisor, Dianne Dreyer. The pair started dating in 1992. He also brought Diana while giving the speech for winning Best Actor award in 2000 Academy Awards.
