Manchester City
Manchester City popularly known as Man City is a Premier League Football Club located in Manchester, England. The club was founded in 1880 as St Mark’s (West Gorton) later changed to Ardwick Association Football Club in 1887 and took the name of Manchester City in 1894. They own their stadium in Manchester named City of Manchester Stadium also known as Eastlands and the Etihad Stadium for the sponsorship commitments in 2011, which has the capacity of 47,405 people to view the matches. The owner of the club is City Football Group managed by Manuel Pellergrini under the chairmanship of Khaldoon Al Mubarak. Man City has been the most successful club in the history of 1960s and 1970s for winning the League Championship, FA Cup, League Club and European Cup Winners Cup. They are the current champion of FA Cup 2014. Man City players are dressed in sky blue and white as their home color and they have adopted the current club badge on 1997 which is based on the arms of the city of Manchester having a shield in front of the golden eagle. Manchester United is said to be the rival club of Man City.
