Swedish-American actress, Mercedes Mason is better known for portraying the character Zondra Rizzo (one of the members of the C.A.T. Squad) in action-comedy series Chuck. She is also popular for her role in Fear the Walking Dead as Ofelia Salazer (strong-willed and capable daughter of Daniel and Griselda). In 2012, she was cast as one of the leads in the TV series, The Finder. Some of the notable movies include The Break-Up, Red Sands and Quarantine 2: Terminals.

Mercedes Mason was born on 3rd March 1983 in Linkoping, Sweden under the birth sign Pisces. Her Iran emigrant parents raised her with her sister in the neighborhood of Ryd, Linkoping. At the age of 12, Mason along with her family moved to the United States. In April 2016, she took the U.S citizenship test and later became the US citizen.

When Mason was in her high school, FORD modeling agency discovered her and launched her into an international modeling career. She then booked her first audition for the 2006’s The Break-Up while she was studying psychology at college.

Some of her other movies include General Education, Slightly Single in L.A and Sniper: Legacy.

Mason debuted in TV in 2005 as Neely in ABC’s soap opera One Life to Live. She then worked in several TV series like Entourage, The Closer, NCIS, Castle and Traffic Light among others. Particularly, she is famous for portraying the character Zondra Rizzo (one of the members of the C.A.T. Squad) in action-comedy series Chuck. The series starred Yvonne Strahovski, Zachary Levi, Adam Baldwin and Joshua Gomez.

In 2012, Mason became one of the two lead actresses of procedural drama TV series The Finder. She shared the screen with Geoff Stults, Michael Clarke Duncan, Maddie Hasson and Toby Hemingway.

In 2015, Mason appeared as Ofelia Salazer (strong-willed and capable daughter of Daniel and Griselda) in AMC’s post-apocalyptic horror TV series Fear the Walking Dead. The series starred Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Danay Garcia and Elizabeth Rodriguez.

As of 2018, Mason is working in upcoming ABC’s crime drama The Rookie. The series stars Nathan Fillion, Afton Williamson, and Eric Winter.

On 10th January 2018, the couple welcomed their first child, Caius Kane. She posts several pictures of her baby in her social media.
