Jenna Elfman is an American actress and dancer who debuted in the entertainment industry in 1990 with a music video appearance in Depeche Mode's song Halo. She initiated her acting career from a Television show, The George Carlin Show in 1994 and then in the movie Grosse Pointe Blank in 1997. She is a member of Church of Scientology and is involved in a lot of fundraiser activities.          

Early Life And Education Of Jenna Elfman

Jenna Elfman was born Jennifer Mary Butala to Grace Butala and Richard Butala on September 30, 1971, in Los Angeles, California. Her mother was a homemaker and her father was a Hughes Aircraft executive.

She is youngest of the three in her family and grew up in her hometown with the siblings. Elfman belongs to Croatian ancestry from her father and was brought up as Roman Catholic. Her mother belonged to Scottish, German and English ancestry.

She started training in ballet at a very small age of 5 but because of her ankle injury, at the age of 16, she left ballet. Elfman attended Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and for her higher college studies enrolled at a public university called California State University, Northridge.

Elfman has a popular uncle, Tony Butala who is a lead vocalist of the popular boy band The Letterman and has been with the band since 1958.

Jenna Elfman is professionally both a dancer and an actor. She first debuted in the entertainment industry with a musical debut by appearing in the music video of Depeche Mode's song Halo in 1990 and started doing more music videos.         

Elfman learned acting from honored acting teacher Milton Katselasa at The Beverly Hills Playhouse. Her started her acting career after appearing in an episode of the 1994 American sitcom The George Carlin Show in the role of a psychedelic girl.

In 1997, she made her movie debut in Grosse Pointe Blank as Tanya. After her debut, she did multiple movies and series such as Looney Tunes: Back in Action, The Six Wives of Henry Lefay and Friends with Benefits. In the 2011 movie Friends with Benefits, she was cast alongside popular actors Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis.

As for her Television career, she became a huge name in the industry as she got cast in numerous big projects. She appeared in two episodes of Two and a Half Men and in 18 episodes as the main cast in Accidentally on Purpose in the role of Billie.

Elfman was a main cast in an American Television sitcom Dharma & Greg appearing in the 119 episodes in the role of Dharma Freedom Finkelstein Montgomery. For her appearance in the series, she was nominated and even won some prestigious awards like Golden Globe Award For Best Actress in 1999 and TV Guide Award for Favourite Actress in a Comedy.

As of 2018, she is cast in the ongoing series Fearing the Walking Dead as Naomi whose fourth season premiered on April 15, 2018, alongside popular actors like Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane and Lorenzo James Henrie.

Jenna Elfman is estimated to have a whopping net worth of $16 million. Her main source of income is her acting career followed by endorsement deals, advertisements, and music video appearances. She earned $125,000 per episode for her appearance in the series Accidentally on Purpose

Elfman together with her husband bought a 5,000 square feet house for $4 million in 2000 once owned by the legendary singer Madonna, which they later sold to actress Katey Sagal for $4.7 million in April 2004.   

Jenna Elfman's Personal Life    

Jeena Elfman is married to American actor Bodhi Elfman on February 18, 1995. The couple first met at an audition for a commercial of the drink Sprite when Bodhi was a practitioner of Scientologist.

Both husband and wife are active Scientologists since 2003. Elfman is a member of the Church of Scientology and in 2008 she hosted the Scientology affiliated New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project Charity Event held at Geisha Housed in Hollywood together with actor Charlie Sheen.

Elfman gave birth to their first child; a son, Story Elias Elfman on July 23, 2007, and later a second son named Easton Quinn Monroe Elfman on March 2, 2010.    

She is very active in fundraising activities. She has contributed a lot in raising funds by hosting a comedy show, making fans to do charity donations acknowledging her birthday and taking part in awareness-raising motives.
