In 2015, the father of Hillsong church, Brian Houston wrote a lengthy vlog post about the traditional Christain thought on gay lifestyle and it's marriages.
His blog wrote: I do believe God’s word is clear that the marriage is between a man and a woman. The writings of the apostle Paul in scripture on the subject of h 0sexuality are also clear, as I have mentioned in previous public statements.
He further recited and wrote that: “Hillsong Church welcomes ALL people but does not affirm all lifestyles. Put clearly, we do not affirm a gay lifestyle and because of this we do not knowingly have actively gay people in positions of leadership, either paid or unpaid.”
Moreover, he clarified to the members of the LGBTQ community that they are heartily welcome to attend, worship with us, and participate as a congregation member with the a s surance that you are personally included and accepted,” but outlined that they wouldn’t be able to hold positions of leadership within the church.
Many other Hollywood A-listers including Kardashian-Jenner family; Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and many others attend to the related other churches.
