American actor, Chris Marquette is best known for his roles in The Girl Next Door, Just Friends, and Fanboys. He made his screen debut as a child actor in 1993 with a commercial ad entitled, Staples: Back to School. Marquette rose to fame after he landed a role in the Disney Channel movie, Up, Up and Away. After that, he appeared in a number of films and TV series.

Chris Marquette was born Christopher George Rodriguez on October 3, 1984, in Stuart, Florida, U.S. He is the son of Patricia Helen "Tisha" (née Marquette) and Jorge Luis "George" Rodriguez, a nuclear engineer.
Marquette was raised along with his two younger brothers, Sean Marquette, an actor, and Eric Marquette. He is American and belongs to White-American ethnicity.
In 1999, Marquette attended high school homecoming dance.

Chris Marquette first appeared on the screen at the age of 9, he featured in the commercial entitled, Staples: Back to School. Then he made his brief appearnce in the 21st season of Saturday Night Live (SNL).
Marquette got his break in 2000 with Disney Channel movie Up, Up and Away. Following her role, he appeared in Lifetime TV's Strong Medicine, and The Girl Next Door. In 2004, he starred as a regular cast on the CBS show, Joan of Arcadia opposite Amber Tamblyn and Jason Ritter.
Some of his screen credit includes Graduation, The Invisible, Race to Witch Mountain, Fanboys, The Rite, The Double, 10 Rules for Sleeping Around, Bad Country, and Chokeslam among others.
