The English actor and his wife tied the knot on 10th June 2006. Apple Martin, daughter of his close pals Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin who divorced in 2016 served as a flower girl in their wedding.

The happily married couple is currently in the 11th year of their blissful married life. They are blessed with two kids. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Matilda Clutterbuck in 2007 and second child, a son Arthur Clutterbuck in 2010.

The forty-four years old The Walking Dead star is quite close to wife and children. He loves spending his free time with his family. In August 2017, the actor was spotted having fun in the warm waters of Costa Rica with his lovely family.

He explained:

It's family first. It makes me more efficient. Work is work time, then I come home – and there is nothing more grounding. You're fawned over and wined and dined in LA, and you come home and have to change the nappy.

Andrew and Gael first met on the sets of a television show Teachers where Gael was a floor runner and Andrew used to visit the set as a guest director. They two became friends soon and started dating after a few meetings. Lincoln told how he fell for his wife in an interview saying:

I saw someone that I just fell for, it was amazing. You can't really quantify or explain emotions. It's part of my business, sure, but when it's the real deal… Ours is a very ordinary love story, I suppose. We met, we spent time together, and then I proposed and we got married and had children.

And, in another interview, Andrew Lincoln confessed that he doesn't use any smartphones or social media. The actor said his wife Gael Anderson is his apps, we are gushing more like a messenger.

He explained:

She’s the reason I’m able to do this mad job. She has built a life in Atlanta while I’m away filming. I don’t have a smartphone or apps or anything and people ask me why. I say: ‘My wife is my app.

Lincoln was previously in a relationship with Tara Fitzgerald. The former couple started dating back in 1997. Their relationship was short-lived,  they broke up a year later.
