American auto racing driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. and American reality television personality Lauren Burnham, who first met and fell in love on The Bachelor’ season 22, celebrated their daughter’s soon arrival with a baby shower on Saturday. Lauren’s due date is in early June.
The soon to be parents recorded the party on social media including the impressive desserts and an ultrasound machine set up in the living room.
Twenty-seven years old Lauren uploaded a picture of her getting an ultrasound to her social media account, Instagram’s story. She also posted a sweet photo of her and Arie cradling her baby bump with the caption writing “This little babe is loved.”
The mom-to-be joked about their early stages of a relationship with a picture Arie holding a white onesie reading “Can I steal Daddy for a sec?!” with a logo of a rose.
Lauren wrote over the picture “I was mid-sentence saying, ‘absolutely not, Guess I still have a little PTSD.” She also uploaded a video of her husband competing in bottle chugging competition.
In the same way, Arie also shared numerous footage from the ceremony including an image of Lauren gazing at him lovingly as he opens a box of presents.
Lauren was dressed in a white button-down dress while Arie was spotted wearing a light pink button-down shirt and white pants.
Lauren and Arie got married in January in Hawaii nearly a year after the pair got engaged on The Bachelors After the Final Rose special ceremony.
In November, the pair announced that they were expecting their first child together.
