Ghana

Ghana is an African country. It is officially known as Republic Of Ghana. It is a sovereign multinational state having unitary presidential constitutional democracy. Ghana is located along the Gulf of Guinea and Atlantic Ocean. Ghana has the total land mass of 238,535 sq km and is the 82nd largest country in the world. It shares its border with Ivory Coast in the west, Burkina Faso in the North and Togo in the east. The flag of Ghana comprises of three rectangular colors proceeding from red, yellow and green on the bottom. It has a black star in the middle. The motto of the Ghana is Freedom and Justice. Ghana is a significant producer of petroleum and gas. It is one of the world’s largest producers of gold and diamond and is projected to be the largest producer of cocoa by 2015. Ghana is regarded as the world’s 58th most peaceful country. Ghana is the home to many endangered wild life species like lion, porpoise, wild elephants, etc. Ghana is in the verge to be a developed nation. It is culturally as well as naturally very beautiful country. Ghana has earned its reputation and international recognition through the national football team of Ghana which is participating in the world’s most anticipated football tournament The FIFA World Cup.
