The term artist relates to somebody engaged in activities regarding the creation, practice or demonstration of arts. The broad spectrum of “arts” may include activities such as drawing, painting, sculpture, acting, dancing, writing, filmmaking, new media, photography, potting, gold making, glass blowing, music etc. An artist uses his imagination, talent or skill to create, demonstrate or practice any of the aforementioned art forms. The term artist is not constricted to a certain group of people, doing a certain job but may be used to describe people involved in any kind of creative art forms.
