It's over for Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson!
The 23-year-old singer and her fiance of over three months have announced their split, TMZ confirmed.
The couple reportedly called off their engagement over the weekend. A source close to Grande told People,
It was way too much too soon. It's not shocking to anyone.
Further, a source told TMZ about the ex-lovebirds' decision to quit their relationship was mutual as they both realized their timing wasn't right.
The split comes just weeks after Grande went through some emotional difficulties as she came to terms with the loss of former boyfriend Mac Miller. Miller died from a drug overdose on September 7, 2018.
Following the death of Miller, Grande's team told People that;
Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend.
The team added,
She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.
The Grammy nominee-singer and the Saturday Night Live star were reported dating in May which came just weeks after Grande split with her longtime love and rapper Mac Miller and a week after Davidson confirmed his breakup from actress Cazzie David.
