Though he didn't win Oscar this year, he has already won our hearts, yes we are talking about The Call Me by Your Name and Lady Bird star Timothee Chalamet.
Chalamet received Oscar nomination for best actor for his performance in The Call Me by Your Name which makes him the third youngest nominee for the Academy Award for Best Actor and the youngest since 1939.

5. Chalamet Initially Wanted To Pursue His Career As A Soccer Player
Initially, the 22-year-old rising star wanted to pursue his career as a professional soccer player. Talking to an interview in 2017, the Oscar-nominated star revealed his dream of becoming soccer player:
"To become a soccer player. I am French, after all. Growing up, I split my time between New York and a tiny village about two hours from Léon. In the US, we baby our young kids, but the French culture does not value youth. So soccer was what there was to do."
Chalamet is a big fan of AS Saint-Étienne.
4. He Once Dated Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes Leon
Along with his breakthrough role in Call Me by Your Name and his charm, Chalamet has been one of the new crushes in the Hollywood and all of those who are curious about his dating life, the actor has dated Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon.
If we believe some sources, Chalamet and Leon dated during their teenage in 2013. At the time, they both were students at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City.
Recalling the past, the actor revealed about his romance with the 21-year-old singer in an interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM:
"I usually don't talk about this stuff,"
They are still friend which he added saying:
"She hasn't seen [Call Me by Your Name] yet, but she's excited to." "She keeps teasing me about it. The movie itself she's very excited about, and the reception it's been getting is only a great thing, it's like the public appearance stuff around it, some of the late-night things I've done. 3. He Auditioned For Spiderman
How many of you know that Chalamet has auditioned for Spiderman? Three years back, he auditioned for Spider-Man: Homecoming which he ruined in total panic. He explained:
"I read twice and I left sweating in a total panic,"
The actor added:
"I called my agent, Brian Swardstrom, and I said, 'Brian, I thought about this a lot and I have to go back and knock on that door and read again,' and he told me the story of Sean Young and how, in an attempt to become Catwoman [in Tim Burton's Batman Returns], had scared everyone away when she showed up at the studio gates in costume."
The role eventually went to Tom Holland.
2. Chalamet Pledged To Donate His Salary for His Upcoming Movie, A Rainy Day in New York to Time's Up
Due to the sexual abuse allegation against director Woody Allen by his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow, most of the cast members of the movie A Rainy Day in New York along with Chalamet have announced to donate their salary from the movie on charity.
The Call Me by Your Name and Lady Bird star pledged to donate his salary from his upcoming movie of Woody Allen, A Rainy Day in New York to three charities: TIME’S UP, The LGBT Center in New York, and RAINN.
He made the announcement via his Instagram post on 16 January 2018.
He starred in the movie alongside Selena Gomez, Elle Fanning, Jude Law, Diego Luna and Liev Schreiber.
