American actress Lena Dunham is grateful for everyone who helped her on her journey this year including her many famous friends.
The Girls’ star, who turned 33 on Monday, threw an early birthday party last week. She posted numerous pictures from the event on Instagram and in one of the first photos, she was seen posing with American actor Brad Pitt.

Lena wore a gray newsboy hat, a gray T-shirt, and white long sleeve shirt. Brad was on all smiles when he gives Lena a big side hug as she points to him.
Lena and Brad have previously worked together on Quentin Tarantino’s film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in September. In the movie, Brad plays the role of Cliff Booth while Lena portrays a character named Gypsy.
Sharing birthday pictures on social media, Lena captioned the photo writing “I used to think there was something a bit unseemly about an adult leaning into their birthday, until I realized I was actually just jealous of the confidence and self-love it takes to say, 'It’s my day, people!”
She continued writing:
I often felt I was making up for some original sin and that the nicest thing I could do for others on my birthday was make myself as unobtrusive as possible (it never worked and I usually either barfed or cried.)
In the same post, Lena thanked each and everyone who has helped her on her journey to health and sobriety. She wanted to say a big old thank you for her 33rd birthday thus hosted a Spring Fundraiser for friendlyhousela.
Lena has been sober for around a year and shared why the charity matters so much to her.
Lena admitted that she would love everyone to donate to Friendly House which is helping women navigate the journey through addiction to recovery.
Besides attending the birthday party for a good cause, Brad was captured out and about in Los Angeles and was even asked about his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
