Kristian Alfonso

Kristian Alfonso is an American actress/model is best known for playing Hope Williams Brady in the NBC drama series Days of Our Lives. She started her career as a figure skater and gold medal champion at the Junior Olympic Figure Skating Championships.

When she was 13, she had a tobogganing accident and ended her career and began her modeling career. She did photoshoots in numerous magazines including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

In 1983, she started playing Hope Williams on the drama series Days of Our Lives. Since then, she has been appearing in the show as of July 2018.  She has also featured in other movies and series. Alfonso is married to Danny Daggenhurst since 2011. The couple has three children.

Kristian Alfonso (Kristian –Joy-Alfonso) was born on September 5, 1963, in Brockton, Ma s sachusetts, USA. She was born to her father Gino Alfonso and mother Joanne Alfonso. She spent her childhood days with her family.  She has a sibling sister named Lisa Alfonso. Her family is one of the prestigious families in Ma s sachusetts. 

Kristian is an American and is of Italian ethnic background as her grandparents came from Sicily and the Calabria region of Italy. 

She was very athletic as a kid; she won a gold medal at the Junior Olympics in figure skating at the age of 13. By the time she was 15 she had already appeared on the cover of more than 30 magazines, Vogue included. Alfonso graduated from Brockton High School in 1982.

Early Career

Alfonso began her career as a figure skater. When a devastating tobogganing accident happened at the age of 13 Kristian Alfonso's skating career ended. Then she began her career in modeling. Her modeling career started in the talent show called Talent America. She got picked as a model from the show by a modeling agency in New York.

Success in Movies And Television Career

In 1981 she first appeared on TV in the TV movie The Starmaker. In April 1983, she appeared on the soap opera 'Days of our Lives' and that was when her career started to gain momentum. However, she left the show in 1987 to appear in another soap opera Falcon Crest. Meanwhile, she made a brief return to Days of Our lives from April to July in 1990.

She played the character of a cop taken hostage by an innocent convict on the run in the 1993 movie 'Joshua Tree' opposite Dolph Lundgren.

She made another entry in Days Of Our Lives in May 1994 as her original character Hope looks alike and later returned to being the formal original character Hope along with a drawn-out storyline. She also was seen as her character from Days of our Lives in an episode of Season 6 of the popular comedy series Friends. Since then, she has appeared in Days of Our Lives as of July 2018. 

She has also appeared in other TV series and movies including Baywatch, Full House, She Wrote, and Melrose Place. She has worked with numerous Hollywood celebrities including John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Scott Weinger, Vanessa Williams, and others.

She has been running her own jewelry line named Hope Faith Miracles since 2006.

Kristian Alfonso has already won 4 awards and has been nominated for 8 awards functions in different years for several movies/series. Firstly, in 1984, she won the Soap Opera Digest Award for 'Days of Our Lives. In 1999 she won the Soap opera Digest award in the category of Hottest Female Star for Days of our Lives.
