Josh Dun aka Joshua William Dun, an American musician, is a drummer of an American duo Twenty One Pilots. The former live drummer for House of Heroes is interested in the Indie Pop, alternative rock, indietronica, and rap-rock genres of music.

Josh Dun was born Joshua William Dun on June 18, 1988, in Columbus, Ohio, the United States of American. He is the son of Laura Lee McCollum and William Earl "Bill" Dun. He has three siblings, two sisters named Ashley Bonnie Lee and Abigail Christine 'Abbie' Dun, and a brother named Jordan Christopher Dun. He grew up with his siblings in Columbus.

Dun worked at the Guitar Centre for three years. Josh debuted his career in 2010, as a drummer joining at House of Heroes in the year March 2010 after the band’s former drummer, Colin Rigsby took a break from the band.
Dun worked with the band until the return of Colin Rigsby to the band until October. After some, while being out of band, he got away into Twenty One Pilot. In 2011, upon the invitation of the then drummer of the band Chris Salih, he met the team of Twenty One Pilots.
A couple of days later of their meeting, they grew as a friend. After a year, Nick Thomas and Chris Salih left the band due to their busy schedule. Afterward, Josh Dun left his job at Guitar Centre in order to pursue his career with the band’s lead singer Tyler Joseph.
The show, however, was canceled after one song due to police orders and since then, Josh became a full-time member of the band. The duo released the band’s second album Regional at Best in July 2011 and the third titled vessel in 2013.
