In an interview with People, the couple shared about their first meeting. Heming said:
“When we first met, I was surprised at how charming and how funny he was – and extremely handsome, That was my first thought of you.”
Willis added that it was love at first sight for him,
“I was already in love with her,”
The couple exchanged vows in front of close friends and relatives including Willis' first wife, Demi Moore, and her then actor husband Ashton Kutcher and three daughters Rumer Willis, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis.
After six days on 27 March 2009, they again tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Beverly Hills as the first wedding was not legally binding.
