Boyce was born on May 28, 1999, in Los Angeles, California, the U.S. His father is an Afro-American whereas his mother is a Jewish. He holds an American nationality and belongs to the mixed ethnicity.  

Boyce’s paternal grandmother, Jo Ann (Allen) Boyce, was one of the Clinton Twelve. His ancestors were the first African-Americans to attend an integrated high school in the south, in 1956, as directed by Brown v. Board of Education.

Boyce started his career appearing as a kid version of the American guitarist, Ryan Ross on the music video named That Green Gentleman in May 2008. He had a recurring role as Michael ‘Stone’ Cates Jr. on the nighttime soap opera, General Hospital: Night Shift in July of that year.

Boyce co-starred in the horror movie named Mirrors in August 2008, making his feature film debut. He also appeared in the mystery-thriller movie named Eagle Eye during that year.

Boyce co-starred in the comedy movie, Grown Ups in June 2010. He played the role of Keith Feder who is the spoiled son of Adam Sandler’s character in that movie. Later, he appeared on the web series, The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, showing off his dance skills.

Boyce made a cameo in the movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, in a Burger King commercial showcasing the movie. He has also appeared as a guest on the Disney Channel series, Good Luck Charlie in April 2011.
