His family confirmed his death on Saturday evening, however, the cause of his death was announced as because of "an ongoing medical condition."

It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron.
The statement further continued,
He pa s sed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compa s sion of all who knew and loved him.
The spokesman also said,
We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother.

Born on May 28, 1999, in Los Angeles, Boyce made his acting debut in the horror film Mirrors when he was just nine. Afterward, he appeared as one of Adam Sandler's spoiled children in Grown Ups.
He got his breakthrough role in 2011 when he was cast as one of the leads, Luke Ross on Disney show Jessie. From 2015 to 2017, he worked in the Descendents movie franchise
