Blake Shelton

Blake Shelton, an American country singer-songwriter, is known for being a judge in the singing reality series The Voice US. He has released 11 studio albums and 8 headlining tours.

In 2017, Shelton made the sixth victory on the show by winning the season 13 of The Voice US. His fellow, Chloe Kohanski crowned the winner.  

Early Life Of Blake Shelton

Blake Shelton was born on 18th June 1976, in Ada, Oklahoma. He is of American nationality with White-American ethnicity. 

He was very dedicated since his childhood and started playing musical instruments from that time. He started playing guitar at a very early age and showed signs of becoming an artist since then.

He wrote his first song when he was only 15. When he was 17, he completed his high school and started turning his dreams of becoming a singer into reality.

He first got his music contract from the mighty company called Sony Music and this gave his career a head start. He has released many albums till now and they have been very successful.

In 2011, NBC launched a new show The Voice US- a franchise show based on The Voice Netherlands. NBC announced that Blake Shelton is one of the coaches for the season 1 and others were Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and Cee Lo Green.

In season 1, his finalist Dia Frampton became first runner-up of the first season of The Voice US. Since then, he has been in the show. In 2012, his fellow Jermaine Paul won the competition.

In season three of The Voice US, his member, Ca s sadee Pope became the winner and his another member, Terry McDermott, was declared as the first runner-up of the show.

In 2017, Shelton’s contestant Chloe Kohanski crowned the winner of the season 13 of The Voice Us. He made a victory to winning six seasons out of 13 seasons of the show. Shelton is the only coaches whose six mentees won the competition.

Blake Shelton is a divorcee. He has been married and divorced twice. Shelton currently dating Gwen Stefani. The duo has been dating since November 2015.

Stefani is one of the judges of The Voice US edition. Shelton and Stefani have been working together on the show since 2014. However, the couple has not announced their wedding plan. 

She previously married to Gavin Rossdale from 2002-2016. Stefani has three sons from her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

Shelton married his longtime girlfriend Kaynette Gern on November 17, 2003. The couple lived three years together and divorced in 2006.

Then, he dated singer Miranda Lambert for four years. Afterward, the couple got married on May 14, 2011. In July 2015, Shelton and Lambert announced their divorce was finalized later that same day.

His personal life has its ups and downs. He was dating his girlfriend Kaynette Williams before the couple decided to get married and live happily as husband and wife. The couple got married in the year 2003 but sadly their relationship could not work out and after just three years of their marriage, the couple decided to go through a divorce to end their relationship.
