American actor, comedian, writer, and director, Dax Shepard is known for portraying Crosby Braverman on NBC's Parenthood and for his roles in the films Without a Paddle, Let's Go to Prison, Zathura, and Employee of the Month.
Parents Divorced When He Was 3
Dax Shepard was born as Daximus Randall Shepard on 2nd January 1975, in Milford, Michigan. His mother, Laura LaBo, used to work at General Motors, while his father, Dave Robert Shepard, Sr., was a car salesman.
His parents had divorced when he was 3 years old and he had to live with his mother who went on to marry three more times. His mother was a successful businesswoman. From the age of 14, Dax began working for his mother, traveling from racetracks to racetracks for GM.
