FIFA

FIFA stands for the Federation Internationale de Football Association. It is an international governing body of association football, futsal and beach soccer.It is most notably a major organization in the senior men’s national teams’ tournament. FIFA is founded in 1904 May 24 standing with the motto of For the Game, For the World. The head quarter of FIFA is in Zurich of Switzerland. There are 209 national associations with FIFA. FIFA is the conductor of world’s most anticipated tournament called World Cup. It is the organizer and promoter of the tournaments but not the rules. International Olympic Committee is a FIFA affiliate committee. FIFA has decided to conduct 2018 World Cup in Russia and 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The current president of FIFA is Sepp Blatter.
