Keir Gilchrist is a Canadian-British actor who started his career as a child actor performing at Annex Children’s Theatre. He is best known for his notable roles, Marshall Gregson in Showtime's original series United States of Tara (2009- 2011), Craig Gilner in the 2010 comedy-drama film It's Kind of a Funny Story, Paul in It Follows (2014) and Sam Gardner in the Netflix original series Atypical (2017).

Keir Gilchrist was born on 28 September 1992 in Camden, London, England. He was the first son of Catherine Gilchrist and Ian Gilchrist. His maternal grandfather Douglas Peters, is a Canadian banker, an economist, and politician and his uncle David Wilfrid Peters is an economist too. He was born under the birth sign Libra.
Keir spent his early childhood in London, before relocating to the United States, and finally settling in Toronto with his family. He was interested in acting from his childhood age.

In 2017, he played in a movie named Heartthrob as Henry Sinclair.
