It Looks Like Fantastic Beasts Might Be In Trouble. Johnny Depp Is Yet To Sign On To This Installment.

Ever since the Harry Potter series of movies ended, Warner Bros. Pictures have been attempting to continue the Wizarding World going on to the big screen with a new franchise in the same universe.

Fantastic Beasts 3, which is set to be released on November 12, 2021, seems to be in trouble. The following year, writer J.K. Rowling and director David Yates are gearing up to start production, but the movie might be without Johnny Depp this time around.

Johnny was set up to be a primary antagonist in the first two installments. The Blast indicated that the 55 years old actor is yet to sign to this installment.

 Johnny first appeared as villain Gellert Grindelwald at the end of the first movie setting up his appearances in the sequel and future films to come. Most of the members had their options for the third movie exercised, and they believe Johnny’s camp is hopeful that his choice will be picked up soon.

Johnny has been stuck in legal issues ever since he and his former wife Amber Heard separated back in 2016. He is mired with doc u mented allegations of physical and emotional abuse in court filings.

In 2018, his ex-wife Amber doc u mented her abuse without naming Johnny for the Washington Post, but the actor filed a defamation lawsuit against her for worth $50 million.

Johnny also had doc u mented legal and financial problems. He has also been involved in lawsuits against his former business partners.

The Fantastic Beats: The Crimes of Grindelwald gained backlashes for casting him in the movie in awake of the controversy between he and his former wife. Amber also appeared in Aquaman, and Warner Bros released both of the films.

In fact, the pair shared the same stage just moments apart from each other.
