Australian film and television actress, Georgina Haig is known for her roles in the Australian children’s television series The Elephant Princess, and the American television series Once Upon a Time and Fringe. Haig won a 2010 Best Actress Scream Festival award for her performance in Australian suspense-thriller, Crawl as Marilyn Burns.

Georgina Haig was born 3rd August 1985 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia under the birth sign Leo. She is a daughter of a fine artist, Gillian Haig, an Australian scriptwriter and filmmaker, Russell Hagg, whose credits include The Cup, BMX Bandits, Cash and Company and Blue Heelers.
Haig spent most of her childhood on the Mornington Peninsula in Victori along with one younger brother, Julian Haig who is also an actor and a model.
Haig learned ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance at the age of eight. She then joined the Red Hill Consolidated School and Toorak College for her high school education.
She then attended the University of Melbourne to pursue Arts studies followed by the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and graduated in 2008 with a degree in acting.

Georgina Haig debuted in acting, appearing in 2008 short film, Iris as Chloe, and Lost & Found as Louisa. In 2009, she appeared in a recurring guest role in two seasons of Australian television true crime-drama series, Underbelly.
The following year, Haig was featured in Australian horror film, Road Train as a supporting role of Liz, along with Xavier Samuel, Bob Morley, Sophie Lowe, and many more.
After that, she appeared in the lead role in 2013 TV series, The Elegant Gentleman's Guide to Knife Fighting, starring Craig Anderson, Damon Herriman, Darren Gilshenan, and others. She also portrayed the character of Paula Yates in Australian miniseries, INXS: Never Tear Us Apart.
