Denise Boutte was born on 19th January 1982 in Maurice, Louisiana, United States of America. As far as her nationality is concerned, Boutte is American, and she belongs to African-American ethnicity.

She is the daughter of Nelson Joseph and mother, Betty. Her father is already dead. She grew up in a farming community near Lafayette. 

She went to North Vermillion High school. After completing high school, she went to Louisiana State University to complete her MCOM degree. She worked in a Dallas ad agency while she was studying at the university. She completed her education in 1999.

Married to Kevin Boutte

Denise is a married woman and is a mother of one. She is married to Kevin Boutte, whom she met at a Junior Daughter/Junior Knights Catholic teen talent show in Lafayette. They dated for a while before walking down the aisle in 2003.

She made her debut as a producer from the television series Denise's Dish. She produced a movie Secrets and a television series Bronx SIU in 2018. In 2019, she voiced the character of Raquel Ervin/Rocket in DC's comics television series Young Justice.

She has portrayed the major role of Diane in Before I'm Dead. The film is in post-production, and the release date is yet to be set.
