Chilean actress, Daniela Vega made her big screen debut in 2014 in the movie, The Guest. and is popularly known for her role, Marina Vida in 2017's critically acclaimed movie, A Fantastic Women from which she won several awards. Daniela Vega was born Daniela Vega Hernandez on 3rd June 1989 in San Miguel, Santiago Province, Chile under the birth sign Gemini. Vega is the first child of Igor Alejandro Vega Inostroza and Sandra del Carmen Hernandez de la Cuadra. Her parents raised her with her younger brother, Nicholas Vega.
At the age of eight, Vega studied Opera with her grandmother. She then attended the all-boys school where she was bullied. While studying in the school, Daniela realized she was transgender and began to transition. Despite the conservative society of Chile at the time, her parents supported her.

Daniela made her big screen debut in 2014 in Chilean drama, La visita 'The Guest' as Elena. The movie starred Claudia Cantero, Paulo Brunetti, and Carmen Barros. Her performance helped her to win 17èmes Rencontres du Cinéma sud-américain in 2015 in a category of Best Actress.
Vega's breakthrough came in Sebastian Leilo's 2017 drama film, A Fantastic Women where she portrayed the role of Marian Vidal, a transgender young woman living in Chile who works as a waitress and a singer. Her work was hugely appreciated and praised by numbers of audiences and critics. Moreover, she shared the screen with Luis Gnecco, Francisco Reyes, and Aline Kuppenheim.
