The Linkin Park's lead singer Chester Bennington, 41, committed suicide by hanging in his home near Los Angeles on 20th July. The reason behind his suicide is being investigated by the police.

The American music Industry has suffered a ma s sive loss in two months as it has lost two legend artists; Chris Cornell in May 2017, and now Chester Bennington two months later.

Moving on to his childhood days, it wasn't good at all for the man. He kept all these stuff confined to him for long years, however, he revealed them in 2008 during an interview with Kerrang magazine.

He said that one of his friends, a little older to him started molesting him while he was only 7.
He told in a statement
It escalated from a touchy, curious, 'what does this thing do' into full-on, crazy violations.
He added
I was getting beaten up and being forced to do things I didn't want to do. It destroyed my self-confidence.
His troubled life became more intense as his parents divorced when he was 11. Since then, he started living with his father. His father often left him alone as he had to work double shift as a detective.
He said:
It was an awful time. I hated everybody in my family: I felt abandoned by my mom, my dad was not very emotionally stable then, and there was no-one I could turn to-at least that's how my young mind felt.
The difficult times of his life ended as he turned 13 however, the child's mind wasn't able to get out of the pain he suffered for a long time.

Initially, his music career was good enough to divert his mind from his horrendous childhood. However, later on, he became a drug addict which almost spoiled his personal life.
In an interview with Rock Sound in 2015, he revealed: "I was feeling like I had no control over myself in terms of drugs and alcohol."
He added
It's not cool to go drink and be a dumba s s. It's cool to be part of recovery. This is just who I am, this is what I write about, what I do, and most of my work has been a reflection of what I've been going through in one way or another.
He also used his addictions as his inspiration for better music. One of his tracks, 'Crawling' was his best creation through the self-motivation he had.
Chester Bennington's Personal Life
Chester Bennington had a pretty good life when it came to relationships and marriage. He was married for two times. He had a very good relationship with his second wife, Vicky Karayiannis since 2004. Vicky recently revealed that she is feeling high after losing him and feels hard to move on her life.
Previously, Chester was in a married relationship with Susan Silver. He started dating Silver in 1985 and later they got married in 1990. The couple had a daughter Lillian Jean together before getting a divorce in 2004.
Shortly after his divorce with the first wife, he tied the knot with Vicky Karayiannis, an American publicist of Greek heritage. The couple had two children together; a daughter Toni, and a son Christopher Nicholas.
