English actress, Annabel Scholey is best known for portraying Lauren Drake in the BBC's supernatural drama, Being Human. She debuted her career from theatrical works and portrayed a lead role in the BBC3 comedy drama, Personal Affairs.

Early Life and Education
Annabel Scholey was born on January 8, 1984, in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Nationality-wise, she is English and is of Caucasian ethnicity.
Born and raised in Wakefield, Scholey received her training at the Oxford School of Drama. She graduated from the drama school in 2005. The following year, she appeared as Miss Sorel in a British mystery TV series, Poirot.
Scholey extensively worked on screen and in theater in her early days. She portrayed Debbie in the play, The Real Thing at Theater Royal Bath, and appeared in several national tours in 2005. She appeared as the predatory younger woman, Kate, in the revival of Peter Nichols’ dramatic presentation, Passion Play at the Duke of York's Theatre (July/Aug 2013).
Scholey’s other theatrical works include Troilus and Cressida, The Cherry Orchard, Hamlet, The Taming of the Shrew, and Wallenstein.
