On Thursday, the couple announced that their separation after being married for nearly four years.

The pair released a joint statement, which stated that the pair had made the decision to separate as a couple with mutual love and respect. They added:

We are grateful for the friendship that we have and will continue to have.

The 31 years old star and College Humor co-founder met through mutual friends and were in a relationship for three years before they got engaged in February 2014.

In the following years, the pair got married. She wore a beautiful couture gown designed by Oscar de la Renta. The pair got married at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming.

The couple exchanged the vows in front of 150 to 200 guests including Lena Dunham, Zosia Mamet, Katy Perry, Jemima Kirke, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen, Seth Meyers, and many others.
