Admir Mehmedi came into existence on 16 March 1991.He was born in Gostivar, Macedonia.Admir Mehmedi is a Switzerland international footballer. He plays as a secondary striker for SC Freiburg on loan from Dynamo Kyiv. He belongs to Albanian heritage. When he was to two, his family migrated from Macedonia to Switzerland. He then joined local side Bellinzona, before he signed for FC Winterthur where he was scouted by Zurich. Young Swiss star Xerdan Shakir,is his one of his good friends. Admir initiated playing football in Belizean sports school. His current team is SC Freiburg. His involvement in the team is from 11 July, 2013 and is linked with the team for 30.06.2014. He had his career with the team FC Zurich in 2009. Mehmedi started his senior career with FC Zürich at the age of seventeen. Forward he got involved in the first- team squad within two years and by 2010 he was a first team regular. He made his senior debut on the 20th of July, 2008 and scored two goals where he had made eleven appearances with the additional achievement of Swiss Super League in his debuting season with the club. He was introduced as a physical striker being a first team regular in 2010.With a quality of excellency in the box as well as having a good pace, he was considerably great. During his time with Zurich, Mehmedi scored nineteen goals and providing nine a s sists. Mehmedi received the transfer offers from Sunderland A.F.C., Liverpool FC and FC Nurnberg. Yet, Mehmedi moved to Dynamo Kyiv. On January 13, 2012, Admir Mehmedi joined Dynamo Kyiv from FC Zürich bonded in a five-year deal. During his season and a half with Kyiv, Mehmedi primarily played coming off from the bench. Initially Mehmedi moved to SC Freiburg to join on loan, though his contract also provided Freiburg to have an option for making the permanent move. He is a gifted attacking player who perceives the game in a proper way. During the international competitions under- 21 Mehmedi was a vital member of the Swiss U-21 side in the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. Mehmedi had received the silver boot with three goals in the tournament and confirmed his selection in the UEFA Euro U-21 2011 Team of the Tournament. Along with Xherdan Shaqiri, Mehmedi was being enlisted as the future of Swiss football. Playing with the senior team Mehmedi made his debut for the Swiss national team against England, in a Euro 2012 qualifying game where was substituted. Mehmedi scored the first goal for Switzerland in his side's 5–3 win over Germany. The Swiss national side had not been able to beat the Germans since 1956.
