Actress Anna Graham Hunter has come forward with a sexual hara s sment allegation against the actor Dustin Hoffman. Hunter has accused the actor of groping her and engaging in sexually inappropriate conversations in 1985.
She says the 80-year-old actor groped her on the sets of TV movie Death of a Salesman and talked disrespectfully about sex with her.
She wrote in the Hollywood Reporter:
He asked me to give him a foot ma s sage my first day on set; I did. He was openly flirtatious; he grabbed my a s s, he talked about sex to me and in front of me.
She added,
One morning I went to his dressing room to take his breakfast order; he looked at me and grinned, taking his time. Then he said, "I'll have a hard-boiled egg ... and a soft-boiled clitoris.' His entourage burst out laughing. I left, speechless. Then I went to the bathroom and cried.
After her article in the Hollywood Reporter, Hoffman responded it with an apology:
I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation. I am sorry. It is not reflective of who I am.
Her allegations have come after a deluge of similar stories of sexual hara s sment in Hollywood including the accusations against Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Brett Ratner, Roy Price and more.
