Scott Elrod is an actor and air traffic controller based in Bitburg, Germany. He is popular for his role in Lone Survivor, Argo, The Swift and Home Run.

Scott became an air traffic controller and earned his pilot license. Thereafter, he moved to Los Angeles, California in 2004 in order to pursue his acting career.

In 2006, Scott played the part of the blind Daniel Lenton on My Network TV’s, “Desire”, an American telenovela.
From 2007 to 2008, Elrod featured Leonard "Cash" Morrissey in the television series" Men in Trees. Besides “ Men In Trees” he featured in several TV films and series like Hallmark’s Uncorked directed by Rick Schroder.
Scott also played hit series Castle and the ABC-pilot True Blue directed by Peter Horton.
Leading roles in feature films like Tricks of a Woman, Death and Cremation and a supporting role in The Switch opposite Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman led him to a wider international audience.
During 2011, Scott filmed a short film The Allure of Love on Royal Caribbean’s Allure of The Seas. He featured Achilles Crux in the political drama Argo with Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, Alan Arkin and Scoot McNairy.
