For two seasons Lovell has been the standout comic relief alongside Golden Winner, Rachel Bloom, and Vincent Rodriguez. The role changed her life forever. Both public and critics loved her performance and she became a household name.
In 2017 she was seen in the smash hit romantic comedy movie The Big Sick where she played Khadija alongside Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter, Ray Romano among others.
As of 2018, she is voicing a character named Mermista on the television show named She-Ra and the Princess of Power on Netflix.
