From a high profile political figure and a villain set in a dark fantasy world, Award-Winning actor Usman Ally has landed a number of breakout roles in dozens of hit movies and TV series. Initially gained fame from his performance at some of the most reputable theaters, the actor made his mark after his role in the play The Invisible Hand for which he also won Obio Award. He is even better known for his work in movies and TV series like Star Trek Into Darkness, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Suits

Early Life, Bio, And Family 

Usman Ally was born on August 27, 1982, in Swaziland to Pakistani parents. He spent his first 18-years moving and living across southern and eastern Africa. His father was involved in trade between African countries. Thus, he got a chance to explore the diverse culture of many countries Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Pakistan. 

Usman belongs to Swazi nationality and ethnicity wise; he identifies himself as an "African-American Pakistani."

Usman eventually moved to America and attended college at Lewis and Clark in Portland where he majored in Theatre and Cultural Anthropology. After his college, Ally went on to enrolled at the University of Florida and earned his MFA Magna Cum Laude in Acting.  

Upon graduation, Ally went to Chicago and got his start performing at some of the most reputable theaters.

Usman Ally gained early popularity originating many lead characters in award-winning plays like Bagheera, Amir, and more. He landed his first movie role in Chicago Overcoat in 2009. After a couple of years, the actor appeared in the TV series The Chicago Code sharing the credits along with Jason Clarke and Jennifer Beals.

Ally gained ma s sive fame after his fantastic performance in the commercially successful movie Star Trek Into Darkness. He subsequently worked in countless movies and TV series. From 2014-15, he was a cast in the TV series alongside Tim Daly, Patina Miller, and Geoffrey Arend.
