Russi Taylor, widely known for voicing global icon Minnie Mouse, has pa s sed away on Saturday, 27th July 2019. She died in her Glendale home and was 75 years old.
The Walt Disney Company confirmed her death with Disney CEO Bob Iger releasing a statement confirming her death. In the statement, Bob claimed that Minnie lost her voice with the pa s sing of Russi Taylor.

Bob also claimed that Minnie and Russi had worked together for more than 30 years to entertain millions of people around the world. The partnership had made Russi a Disney Legend and Minnie a global icon.
He added:
It was a privilege to have known her and an honor to have worked with her, and we take comfort in the knowledge that her work will continue to entertain and inspire for generations to come.
Bob admitted that Russi would be sorely missed and he also gave deepest condolences to her family and friends.
Russi, not only lent her voice to Minnie, but she also worked on The Simpsons playing several characters like Uter and Martin.
Russi was born Russell Taylor on 4th May 1944 in Cambridge, Ma s sachusetts, the United States. She started her career back in 1980.
She was married once in her lifetime to husband, Wayne Allwine. Her husband is the one who voiced Mickey House. Her husband died in 2009 after being married to eighteen years. She was also the mother of four stepchildren.
