Randy Orton has defined himself as a controversial villain in the WWE realms. His fans are polarized in their opinions of him, with some viewing him as a narcissist, and others as an excellent source of entertainment.

He is signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand as of 2018. He is a third-generation professional wrestler like his grandfather Bob Orton Sr., and Bob Orton Jr., his father.

Orton has also appeared in numerous television films and TV series. He has won nine WWE Championship and four WWE’s World Heavyweight.

Randy Orton was born Randall Keith "Randy" Orton on April 1, 1980. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States of America. He was born as the son of Elaine Orton and Bob Orton Jr. He grew up along with sister Rebecca and brother Nate(who is a standup comedian). He also has a sibling; Becky Orton, Jasper Orton, Nathan Orton.

He was raised in his native birthplace with his family. His star sign is Aries and he is Christian by his religion.

Orton attended Hazelwood Central High School; he started wrestling from his school life wrestler. He graduated from a school in 1998 and he joined the United States Marine Corps.

Early Career

He was interested in wrestling since his childhood days but was discouraged by his parents. Later on, in 1998 he joined the US Marine Corps but military life was not so successful he received a bad conduct discharge for disobeying an order from a commanding officer. Later, he was also punished and he spent 38 days in a military prison.

Orton made his wrestling debut in 2000 at the Mid-Missouri Wrestling Association-Southern Illinois Conference Wrestling (MMWA-SICW) in St. Louis, where, he got training from his father, Bob Orton Jr.

For one month he wrestled for the promotion where he performed with wrestlers such as Mark Bland and Ace Strange. He also referred to a few matches with World Organized Wrestling.

Career As a Wrestler and Actor

Randy Orton's professional career started in 2001 when he signed a deal with World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and later he was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) in Louisville, Kentucky, to get trained. Later, he also began appearing on several WWFE house shows. Later, he was also featured in WWE.

Besides his wrestling career, he has also been featured in movies he made his acting debut in the 2011 movie That's What I Am as Ed Freel. In 2013, he made his appearance in 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded. He was also featured in the lead role in the 2015 movie The Condemned 2: Desert Prey.

He has also made a guest appearance in the new series Shooter in the years 2016.

Randy Orton's Controversy

Randy Orton has long been a controversial figure in professional wrestling. In 2007, he was nearly arrested after an incident in New Orleans involving a fan and his camera. Later, Orton paid $100 to his fan to settle the issue.

In several matches, he showed his anger at an extreme level. Due to this, he was sent to an anger management course in Atlanta for four weeks in 2006. But, his anger did not control, a year later he was sent home from a Europe tour after charging $50K worth of damage to a hotel room.

Orton has also been terminated temporarily several times. In April 2006, he was suspended after he was caught smoking marijuana. In 2012, he was again suspended for violating the wellness policy.

WWE champion Randy Orton is a married man. He is married to Kim Marie Kessler since 2015. Orton met his future wife Kim Marie Kessler in New York. The couple started dating in February 2014 while he was just divorced his first wife Samantha Speno.

They engaged in July 2015 during their vacation in Bora Bora. Orton and Kessler married on 15 November 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Orton’s wife is active on Instagram.

Previously, Randy Orton was married to Samantha Speno from 2007-13. Orton and Samantha Speno married on September 21, 2007. They welcomed their first child, a daughter Alanna Marie Orton on July 12, 2008.
