American singer-songwriter and former professional basketball player, Robert Sylvester Kelly AKA R. Kelly, has been charged with eleven additional felony counts of sexual abuse, including that carry a maximum sentence of three decades in prison.
The new sexual abuse charges against Kelly comes from the abuse of Jerhonda Pace, which took place back in 2010. She shared the story in a doc u ment-series entitled Surviving R. Kelly.
The charges against Kelly include four counts of criminal sexual a s sault, three counts of criminal sexual abuse of the victim in between the age of 13 to 16, two counts of criminal a s sault by force, and two counts of criminal sexual abuse.
In February, Kelly was accused of criminal sexual abuse and was charged with ten counts. He was then accused of abusing four women, three of the victims were underage at the time.
During an interview with CBS This Morning anchor Gayle King, Kelly claimed that all those allegations against him were all lies.
Kelly is due back in court in coming Thursday. The charges are an extension of February charges, and his attorneys said that they would deal with them accordingly.
