Nate Torrence is an American comedian actor, best known for portraying as Wade Bailey on the HBO American comedy television series Hello Ladies alongside Stephen Merchant, Christine Torrence, Kyle Mooney and others. He is also known for his numerous roles in television advertisements.
Nate won the 2005 AICP award for Best Talent/Performance in a Commercial for his Volkswagen spot.
Early life and education
Nate Torrence was born as Nathan Andrew Torrence on December 1, 1977, in Canton, Ohio, United States of America. She belongs to white ethnicity and holds an American nationality.
Nate is the son of Kathy Torrence and has an older brother Jay Torrence. His family used to run a hotel that offered lodging and breakfast in Berlin.
Nate joined Hiland High School in Berlin, Ohio. He attended Kent State University; Stark Campus. Later, he attended Second City’s Players Workshop in Cleveland and learned improv. Moreover, he also studied Comedy Sportz and The Groundlings in Los Angeles.
Nate is former trampoline gymnast and won the national competition in his teenage.
After studying with Second City's Players Workshop in Chicago, Nate began his career touring in a comedy troupe, Beef, Corn, and Cabbage where he wrote, improvised and performed with his elder brother, Jay Torrence and friend Josh Ruth.
In the year 2003, Nate debuted on the television with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as Daniel O'Hannissey. The same year, he portrayed as Ted in the American sitcom, The Mullets.
In 2005, Nate debuted in the movie with Little Athens as Cardplayer. Later he appeared in the several television series and movies including Malcolm in the Middle, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Get Smart's Bruce and Lloyd: Out of Control, She's Out of My League and much more.
Nate Torrence married to his longtime girlfriend, Christie Mullet in 1999. The couple is blessed with two children, Cooper Andrew Torrence born on 2005 and Molly Pepper Torrence born on 2008.
