Natasha Gregson’s Mother Death
Natasha Gregson lost her mother when she was just 11. Her mother, a legendary actress Natalie Wood, died at the age of 43 during the shooting of the film, Brainstorm. She was drowned at Catalina Island on board Wagner's yacht, Splendour while on a weekend boat trip. But the reason for her drowning is still unknown; it was never revealed how she fell into the water.
The actress was with her husband, Christopher Walken, and Splendour's captain on the evening of November 28, 1981. A day after tomorrow her body was recovered by authorities at 8:00 a.m. away from the boat. According to her husband, when he went to bed, she wasn't there. Later, in his memoir Pieces of My Heart, he revealed she had an argument with him before her disappearance.
The autopsy found alcohol in her blood, there were traces of two types of medication in her bloodstream. Later, the investigator said, she had been drinking and slipped while trying to re-board the dinghy.
Natalie Wood was buried in Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles. Several known faces from media and Hollywood attended her funerals like Frank Sinatra, Fred Astaire, Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor, David Niven, Gregory Peck, and others.

In 2012, Los Angeles County Chief Coroner amended Natalie's death certificate and changed the cause of her death from accidental drowning to "drowning and other undetermined factors."
