Beyoncé Turned 36 on 4th of September and many A-listers including Former FLOTUS Michelle Obama wished her, in quite a unique style. The former first lady Michelle Obama along with Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé 's first daughter, dressed like her on her music video Formation as a tribute to the strong and empowering Beyoncé.

Obama re-created Beyoncé’s iconic look in a black dress, accessorized with an ornate necklace and braided pigtails; other celebrities like Serena Williams, Kelly Rowland followed the suit as well. They were pictured bowing their heads beneath wide-brimmed black hats, as Beyoncé did in her video for Formation from her visual album Lemonade.

But their motive is more than celebrating Beyoncé’s birthday. Through the photo-session, they urged people to donate for the victims of Hurricane Harvey that hit the singer's hometown Houston.

The message with the hashtag #BEYGOODHOUSTON includes a link to a separate page where supporters can donate to two non-profit organizations in Houston, Bread of Life and Greater Houston Community Foundation.
