Macaulay Culkin is an American actor, widely recognized for his appearance as Kevin McCallister in the family comedy movie Home Alone, and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
Early life and education
Macaulay Culkin was born on 26 August 1980 in New York City, U.S. He was born to his father, Christopher Cornelius "Kit" Culkin, a former actor known for his productions on Broadway and is the brother of actress Bonnie Bedelia, and mother Patricia Brentrup, who never got married to Culkin.
Culkin grew up as Roman Catholic. He attended Catholic school 'St. Joseph School of Yorkville' for five years before he moved to Professional Children's School. He also learned ballet at School of American Carson so Culkin would be named after Kit Carson of the old west.
He was third among his seven siblings, five boys and two girls: Rory ( born 1989), Christian ( born 1987), Quinn ( born 1984), Keiran ( born 1982), Dakota (1979- 2008), and Shane (born 1976).
He is white in ethnicity and holds American nationality.
Career
Culkin's career began at his early age of four when he made his appearance in a stage production of Bach Babies at the New York Philharmonic. Since then, Culkin continued appearing in different roles on stage, television and several movies.
Macaulay Culkin came into limelight internationally, with his leading role as Kevin McCallister in the blockbuster film Home Alone, as he was reunited with director and writer for Uncle Buck.
After taking some gap from his acting career, he returned to acting again in 2000, portraying in the play Madame Melville, which was staged in London's West End. In the spring of 2003, Culkin made his guest appearance on the NBC sitcom Will & Grace.
In the year 2006, Culkin also published an experimental, semi-autobiographical novel, Junior, which also featured details about Culkin's stardom and his relationship with his father.
Macaulay made his appearance in a UK-based commercial for Aviva insurance to help promote their company's rebranding.
He also starred in 'Remember me.' On 17 August 2009, he made a brief cameo appearance on WWE Raw at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, following 'falls count anywhere' match between Hornswoggle and Chavo Guerrero.
In the year 2013, a viral video of Culkin eating a cheese pizza was uploaded to Youtube, as he was parodying Andy Warhol consuming a Burger King Whopper in Jorgen Leth's doc u mentary 66 scenes from America.
Later on 24 Jan 2014, his tour began in Brooklyn. The same year in late May, he stormed off stage at Rock City during his kazoo solo after fans began booing and throwing pints of beer at the brand.

Firstly, Culkin was married to his first wife, an actress Rachel Miner in the year 1998, however, the couple got separated in 2000 and later got legally divorced in 2002.
The same year after his divorce, in May, he began dating his second girlfriend Mila Kunis, an actress. Later in 2006, he resided in New York, and Kunis was in Los Angelos. On 3rd January 2011, Mila's publicist confirmed that Macauley and Mila had ended their affair a few months earlier.
While he was in his shooting for his first movie Home Alone, he became close friends with legendary pop singer Michael Jackson, making an appearance in Jackson's bedroom on countless occasions but also claimed that Jackson's bedroom was arranged over two stories and that Jackson had never hara s sed him sexually.
