Born as Dwight Walker, Lucious Lyon is a fictional character from the most popular American drama called Empire broadcasted on Fox. The role is portrayed by the actor Terence Howard. He plays an anti-hero role in the series that was the brainchild of Lee Daniels and Danny Strong.

In the series, Lucious is seen to be the CEO and founder of the world famous record firm called Empire Entertainment along with his family. The story of this awesome series runs side by side William Shakespeare’s King Lear and another one by James Goldman’s called The Lion in Winter.The plot sets in with Lucious being diagnosed with ALS and therefore being in a pressing need of a successor. He wants the wittiest and the ablest one among the three of his sons to stand up for the position. So, he lets his sons, Andre Lyon (Trai Byers) who happens to be a college educated executive, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) who is an extraordinary singer and songwriter, and the youngest one Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) vie with another for being that ultimate successor that Empire Entertainment is looking for.

Now delving into his bio, Howard’s affair with his college girlfriend Lori McCommas turned into marriage when he discovered that she was pregnant. However, the couple parted with a divorce in 2001. They had 3 children, two daughters, and a son. Howard married for the second time with Michelle Ghent with whom he divorced a year after. They had no children. There had been allegations of him committing domestic violence in which he defended smartly. Later in 2013, Howard was married for the third time. The bride was Miranda. They now have a baby boy named Kirin Love.
