Keir Gilchrist

Keir Gilchrist is a Canadian-British actor who started his career as a child actor performing at Annex Children’s Theatre. He is best known for his notable roles, Marshall Gregson in Showtime's original series United States of Tara (2009- 2011), Craig Gilner in the 2010 comedy-drama film It's Kind of a Funny Story, Paul in It Follows (2014) and Sam Gardner in the Netflix original series Atypical (2017).      

Early Life Of Keir Gilchrist                

Keir Gilchrist was born on 28 September 1992 in Camden, London, England. He was the first son of Catherine Gilchrist and Ian Gilchrist. His maternal grandfather Douglas Peters, is a Canadian banker, an economist, and politician and his uncle David Wilfrid Peters is an economist too. He was born under the birth sign Libra.   

Keir spent his early childhood in London, before relocating to the United States, and finally settling in Toronto with his family. He was interested in acting from his childhood age.   

Keir Gilchrist's Career

Gilchrist discovered his interest in acting at a junior age and his drama teacher induced him to turn into an expert on-screen character. He went to the Annex Children's Theater and stepped into the world of acting in the year 2003. He, however, got his first big role in the year 2007, in the television series named, The Winner. In the show, he portrayed the role of Josh McKellar.  

Similarly, from 2009 to 2011, he starred as Marshall Gregson on the Showtime comedy-drama series United States of Tara. The same year, he appeared in the comedy-drama film It's Kind of a Funny Story on which he played a leading role. In 2012 he appeared in the television series Delete as Daniel Gerson in two episodes. Again in 2014, he starred with Maika Monroe and Jake Weary in the thriller movie It Follows.               

Following year, Gilchrist appeared in a lead role in the thriller movie Dark Summer as Daniel Austin, John Lovett in the Stanford Prison Experiment, portrayed the boyfriend of Taissa Farmiga's character in the Cannes Film Festival-winning short drama film Share and as The Stranger in the movie Tales of Halloween. In 2017, he played in a movie named Heartthrob as Henry Sinclair. 

Similarly, his other notable television series include United States of Tara, Family Guy, Room 104. As of 2018, he is engaged in the series named Atypical.
