According to Andrew Morton in his book “William and Catherine,” there was a time when Prince William made Middleton feel like a servant rather than making her feel special.

Morton revealed that William could be an overwhelming presence, but at the time, Middleton had felt like she was taken for granted and treated like a servant.

William and Middleton’s university friend, Michael Choong, told Morton that William could be flip and curt with her. On the other hand, Middleton was not pleased when William ignored her into conversation with someone as if she was not there. Another friend also confirmed that the couple shared an edgy relationship.

Morton explained:

He expected Kate to run after him and the longer they knew each other the more he seemed to keep her on a tight leash.

He furthermore added that the couple often had spats, rows, and break-ups while they were trying to figure out their way both as young adults and couple.

Earlier this year, several rumors were speculating that William cheated on his wife with a family friend named Rose Hanbury. Even though many fans slammed the father of three on Twitter, many believed that those rumors were not true as many felt William was happier when his wife was around.

The couple was recently captured on Monday at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Prince William and Kate Middleton got married on April 29, 2011, and are reported to leading a healthy and happy married life. The pair has three children together, and there are rumors that the couple is willing to add another member in the family.
