Inside Biography

Jon Seda an American actor is well known for his role of Detective Paul Falsone in the crime drama Homicide: Life on the Street and also for his role in Selena as Chris Perez.

Early Life Of Jon Seda 

John Seda was born Jonathan Seda on October 14, 1970, in New York City, New York, the United States to Puerto Rican decent parents and raised in Clifton, New Jersey.  He has a sister, Sofia Seda

After completing his high school in Clifton New Jersey, he started to work out in a gym. After his two colleagues convinced him to take up boxing, he boxed in various gyms in New Jersey. 

He was a runner-up in Golden Glover competition in New Jersey.  As a boxer, he held a record of 21 wins and only one loss. 

Jon Seda's Career 

John Seda began his career in acting in 1992 playing the role of Romano, a Cuban boxer in Gladiator. Later, he appeared on several TV series as well. 

His breakthrough came in 1997 portraying the character Chris Perez in Selena starring Jennifer Lopez. The movie is the real story of Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla Perez who was murdered on the brink of her rising career. Seda played Selena's hubby. 

In 2002, he landed his first lead role in the big screen in King Rikki, a re-imagining of Shakespeare's Richard III in East L.A. as a protagonist. 

He was then seen in more than two dozen movies including Bad Boys II, Larry Crowne, Bullet to the Head subsequently appearing in several TV series.  Likewise, he also starred as one of the three main stars in the HBO World War II mini-series The Pacific

He also made a cameo in Ludacris' song Runaway Love as an abusive alcoholic stepfather. In 2018, he portrayed the character of Detective Mike Watts in the movie Canal Street. 

Jon Seda's Achievements 

Seda was nominated for the Best Male Lead for Spirit Award for his role in Like It Like That.  In 1996, he was nominated for the Palm d'Or for his portrayal of the character Blue in The Suncahser. 

Jon Seda's Net Worth 

Jon Seda gathered a good sum from his prolific acting career. His actual net worth is not public, however, sources have claimed it to be around $2 million. 

He bought his first car 78 Camaro at $750.00.

Jon Seda's Personal Life 

Seda married his long-term girlfriend Lisa Gomez on July 4, 2000, after dating for more than a year. 

Seda and his wife, all together have four children; three daughters Haley Seda, Madison Seda and Jessica Seda Pinto and one son, Jonathan Seda.
